Rocks for Socks is a day long music festival that helps support the less fortunate citizens of our community here in Shasta County. We have nine bands every year for a days worth of music and fun and the price of admission is a pair or two of new socks or some other warm clothing item (either new or used). We also accept used sleeping bags and blankets. We will once again be teaming up with Big Bike Weekend so there will be lots to enjoy at Rocks for Socks 2019.
• NO FOOD, BEVERAGES, or ICE CHESTS/COOLERS may be brought into the park.
• Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted to be consumed in the parking lot area at any time.
John Kirk and Joe Blythe are two local musicians that grew up in Northern California, They wanted to give something back to their community and give a helping hand to those less fortunate citizens, so in that spirit Rocks for Socks was founded.
All Rocks for Socks bands and sound crew donate their talent and their time for this great cause. We have nine bands (see our bands page) playing through out the day and night from 10am - 10pm. All for the cost of a pair or two of new socks.
Rock for Socks is a community driven event and we could not do it with out the support of our sponsors
